Stuart Day

Stuart Day is Professor of Spanish and serves as Vice Provost for Edwards Campus and Dean of School of Professional Studies at University of Kansas. His academic background includes BS from Northern Arizona University, MA from University of Arizona, and PhD from Cornell University.

Research Focus: Specializes in contemporary Latin American theater and performance, particularly Mexican performance traditions and political dimensions of theatrical expression.

Recognized with teaching awards including Kemper Fellowship for Teaching Excellence and multiple honors from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously served as Faculty Fellow and received mentoring awards.
