Stig Hjarvard is a Professor in Media Studies at the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, University of Copenhagen (2002-present), and Professor II at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, University of Bergen (2016-present). He previously held positions at Roskilde University and the University of Copenhagen.
