Steven Prus

Steven Prus is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Carleton University, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Health Sciences. His research focuses on social epidemiology, gerontology, and applied statistics, including generalized linear models. He holds a PhD from Simon Fraser University and a post-doctoral fellowship in health statistics from Statistics Canada. Prus is actively supervising graduate students in social epidemiology and social gerontology.

His research spans topics such as health inequalities, aging populations, immigrant health status, and the intersection of gender, ethnicity, and health.
