Dr. Steven Glasgow is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at Heriot-Watt University's School of Social Sciences (Dubai campus). He serves as Deputy Head of Edinburgh Business School (Dubai) and Associate Head of the Management Department, overseeing academic programs and strategy. His research focuses on diversity management, workplace power dynamics, and tourism industry challenges. He joined Heriot-Watt in 2010 as an undergraduate student and earned a Moffat Scholarship for his PhD research on gender inequality in Scottish tourism. Since 2017, he has held leadership roles including Programme Director for BBA programs and Global Chair of the School of Social Sciences' Disciplinary Committee. Glasgow's work contributes to UN SDGs related to gender equality and decent work.
