Steven Brandt is a Lecturer in the Department of Communication at Cornell University. He has over 30 years of experience owning a photography studio in the San Francisco Bay Area, during which he mentored professional photographers and delivered lectures nationwide. Since 2014, he has taught digital photography at the college level.

- Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America
His expertise spans photographic techniques, business strategies for creatives, and the intersection of science and visual storytelling, as reflected in his course PLSCI 1225: Photography Through a Scientific Lens. His work has been exhibited at national and regional photography conventions.
