Steven Blessington is an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at the University of New England (UNE) since 2012, lecturing in their Physician Assistant (PA) Program. He holds dual credentials as PA-C and EMT-P with over 28 years of clinical experience, including 25 years in emergency medicine. Currently, he splits practice time between Maine Medical Center's Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine Service, as well as Stephens Hospital in Norway, Maine.
Education: Received his Physician Assistant (PA) and Master of Health Professions (MHP) degrees from Northeastern University in 1996. Prior to UNE, he served as a paramedic and firefighter in Springfield and Amherst, MA, before transitioning into healthcare leadership roles.
