Dr. Steve Taylor is a senior research engineer at the University of Southampton, UK. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Greenwich (1997). His work focuses on cybersecurity, risk management, and computational governance, particularly in healthcare and regulatory compliance domains. He leads major EU-funded projects including H2020 ProTego (dynamic cybersecurity in healthcare) and FogProtect (end-to-end data protection from fog to cloud). Current projects include the HDRUK PRiAM initiative modeling privacy harms in Trusted Research Environments (TREs).
