Steve Piltch is a Senior Fellow and Director of the School Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Previously, he served as Head of School at the Shipley School for 27 years, leading significant growth in enrollment, diversity, and financial aid accessibility. Under his leadership, Shipley expanded its academic programs, including interdisciplinary studies, SEED curriculum, and STEAM initiatives, while increasing endowment from $6M to over $30M. Piltch holds an Ed.D. from Harvard Graduate School of Education and has held roles at Harvard, Choate Rosemary Hall, and the Newton Public Schools. He currently serves on multiple nonprofit boards focused on education and youth development.
