Stephen Perez

Stephen Perez, D.D.S., serves as Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Assistant Director of Restorative Dentistry at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He teaches pre-clinical Removable Prosthodontics in the Simulation Clinic, having transitioned from part-time faculty (2021) to full-time in 2023.

His educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Emory University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Perez's research and teaching focus centers on Restorative Dentistry with specialization in Prosthodontics, particularly Removable Prosthodontics. He pioneers Simulation Education methodologies for pre-clinical dental training and actively develops continuing education programs through organized dentistry channels. His clinical expertise spans pediatric dental services and private practice management.

Dr. Perez operates within LECOM's Simulation Clinic infrastructure, contributing to the Restorative Dentistry department's educational mission through hands-on technical training and professional development initiatives.
