L. Alexandra Manibo

Dr. L. Alexandra Manibo serves as Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Director of Patient Care Services at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Dentistry School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.

Research Interests: Dr. Manibo's expertise centers on restorative dentistry and clinical research methodologies. Her scholarly work historically spans endocrinology, specifically investigating adrenal steroidogenesis disorders, adrenarche mechanisms, growth and pubertal development regulation, and the interplay of growth factors, androgens, and insulin in hirsutism and polycystic ovarian disorders.

Professional Experience: Accumulating five years as a clinical preceptor, she mentors dental students in patient care protocols. Prior to academia, Dr. Manibo practiced clinically as an associate dentist across New York and Florida settings.
