Stephen Jones is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, affiliated with the Bernoulli Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, and Mathematics. His research focuses on the intersection of grammatical theory and cognitive models of language processing, particularly the syntax-prosody interface in Korean and English. He holds a DPhil in General Linguistics from the University of Oxford (2019) and has taught undergraduate linguistics courses at both Oxford and Groningen.
