Stephen Hurt is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Oxford Brookes University, with a focus on critical political economy and development studies, particularly in Africa. He joined the university in 2003 and teaches modules on political socialization, work-based learning, global development, and South African politics. He welcomes PhD supervision proposals on topics including South African foreign policy and post-Brexit UK-Africa trade.
