Emily Jones

Associate Professor Emily Jones is a political economist at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, and Director of the Global Economic Governance Programme. Her work focuses on international trade, financial regulation in developing countries, and post-Brexit policy analysis.

Her research explores the political economy of global trade, Basel banking standards, and digital economy governance, with an emphasis on asymmetric negotiations and developing country agency. Recent projects examine cross-border data flows and regulatory competition.
