Stephen Ellis

Stephen Ellis is a Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information. He joined shortly after earning his BS in Computer Science and Finance from Pitt in 2016. Professionally, Ellis works as a software engineer at Google, building products to support applications on Google Cloud Platform. His industry experience includes financial technology and internships in wholesale electricity trading, delivery services, and government contracting.

His research interests span software engineering, cloud computing platforms, and financial technology applications. Outside academia, he is an avid supporter of Pitt sports teams.
