Sherif Khattab is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2008), he brings extensive expertise in cybersecurity systems with applications across cloud computing, Internet of Things, electronic voting, and Big Data security.
His research focuses on the systems aspects of cybersecurity, maintaining an h-index of 16 (Google Scholar) and 10 (Scopus) with over 60 publications. Khattab has successfully supervised more than 15 graduate students throughout his academic career.
