Stephen Bodnar

Stephen Bodnar is a Professor of Sculpture at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), holding this position since 2016. He has extensive experience in managing art facilities, including roles as Shop Operations Manager (2006–2016) at SCAD Atlanta and Sculpture Facility Manager (2003–2006) at Atlanta College of Art.

Research & Expertise: Bodnar specializes in sculpture fabrication, museum exhibit design, and art conservation. His work focuses on managing technical aspects of sculpture studios, including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and project supervision. He has expertise in creating custom mounts, display cases, and crates for art preservation and transportation.

Labs/Teams: Overseeing SCAD's sculpture facility, he collaborates with staff and students to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards in both sculpture and woodshop environments.
