Prof. Stephen Bates is a Professor at the TUM School of Engineering and Design, specializing in urban development and housing. His research explores contemporary issues in European urbanism through spatial and non-linear design methodologies. He founded Sergison Bates in 1996, earning international acclaim with awards like the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal (2006).
