Stephanie Heumann

Stephanie Heumann is a Professional In Residence and Undergraduate Coordinator in the Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management at Louisiana State University (LSU). She has been an Instructor at LSU since 2009 and previously taught at Baton Rouge Community College. Her roles include coordinating undergraduate programs and teaching courses in Estimating, Materials, and Senior Capstone Land Development Management. She holds a BS in Construction Management from LSU, an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Paralegal Certificate from LSU, alongside a NAHB Certified Graduate Associate (CGA) certification.

Her research involvement includes contributing to a 2012 HELP Grant ($100,000). She has received notable awards for teaching excellence and professional practice. Prior to academia, she held leadership roles in construction firms such as Lennar, Schuler Homes, and Shea Homes, specializing in operations, project management, and architectural services.

Her professional experience spans over two decades in construction management, blending industry expertise with academic instruction. She currently oversees key courses and coordinates undergraduate initiatives in LSU's Construction Management program.
