Nolde Alexius is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Louisiana State University (LSU), affiliated with the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. She teaches courses such as English 2000 (Our Built Environment) and English 2025 (LSU Fiction), as well as online courses. She advises the undergraduate Creative Writing Club and has served as a Writing Instruction Specialist in the College of Art + Design and Studio 151, contributing to LSU’s Communication Across the Curriculum initiative.
- Education: MFA from George Mason University
Her research and teaching focus on creative writing, literature, and composition. She has published short stories in The Southern Review and other literary journals, and co-edited Best of LSU Fiction (2010). She curated the exhibit The Collectible Life of Mignon Faget at the West Baton Rouge Museum and holds a Certified Associate in Project Management certification.
Awarded multiple accolades, including Phi Kappa Phi’s Outstanding Instructor Award and LSU’s Tiger Athletic Foundation recognition, Alexius is also a recipient of Louisiana Division of the Arts Mini-Grants in Literature.
