Stephanie Bogue Kerr is a PhD candidate and part-time lecturer at the University of Ottawa's School of Social Work, with a focus on behavioral addictions and the sociology of the body. She teaches courses such as SVS 5500: Fondements théoriques du service social and SVS3523: Intégration des expériences de stage.
- Education: MA in Creative Arts Therapies (Drama Therapy, 2013) and BA in Theatre (2013) from Concordia University, followed by an MSW in Social Work (2015) from the University of Ottawa.
Her research bridges carnal sociology with social work interventions, examining the embodied experiences of kidney transplant recipients and the intersection of social media and exercise addictions. Her publications highlight qualitative methodologies, including phenomenology and ethnography.
