Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stephan Pauleit is a Professor of Strategy and Management of Landscape Development at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) within the TUM School of Life Sciences. His work focuses on urban ecology, climate change adaptation, and sustainable urban planning. He holds a doctorate in Landscape Ecology from TUM and has held academic positions at the University of Manchester and University of Copenhagen before returning to TUM in 2009. He currently serves as Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Manchester and Chairman of the Friends of Landscape Ecology Weihenstephan eV.
