Jeremy Carter

Jeremy Carter is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Planning at the University of Manchester's Planning, Property and Environmental Management department. He leads the Green Cities research theme within the Manchester Urban Institute and is currently Co-Investigator on the NERC-funded MEaSURE project (Maximising Ecosystem Services in Urban Environments). His research focuses on integrating environmental planning with climate resilience strategies.

Research interests include:

• Urban climate change adaptation pathways
• Green infrastructure planning and multifunctional landscapes
• Natural flood management governance frameworks
• Risk-based approaches to infrastructure resilience
