Stanton Apple

Stanton Apple is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Arkansas Tech University's College of Engineering & Applied Sciences. His work bridges nuclear engineering, radiation detection, and energy systems with a focus on innovative teaching methods.

• Education: BSME from the University of Arkansas and MENGR from Arkansas State University.

Research Interests encompass neutron dosimetry for pressurized water reactors (PWR), activation monitor analysis techniques for niobium, hot particle isolation from nuclear workers, high-calcium fly ash applications in radioactive waste disposal, and Cool Storage Systems for utility load leveling. His teaching philosophy integrates these technical domains into laboratory settings.
