Stan Kaplan

Stan Kaplan is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Painting at Otis College of Art and Design's BFA Fine Arts program. He holds an MFA from Art Center College of Design and a BA from Eugene Lang College, New School for Social Research.

His professional affiliations include representation by La Loma Projects, with notable exhibitions at Mary Goldman Gallery, Luckman Gallery/CSULA, Black Dragon Society, sixteen:one, Richard Telles Fine Arts, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Fredericks Freiser Gallery, and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

Research Interests: His creative practice spans contemporary painting and visual arts, engaging with institutional exhibition frameworks and art pedagogy.
