Sorina Teleanu

Sorina Teleanu is the Director of Knowledge at Diplo, based in Geneva, Switzerland. She focuses on the intersection of digital technology and global governance, combining research, lecturing, and policy briefings for diplomats. As a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, she teaches digital diplomacy. Her 15+ year career includes roles in policymaking, capacity development, and stakeholder engagement in internet and digital policy. She has held positions such as alternate representative to ICANN’s GAC, Chair of SEEDIG’s Executive Committee, and member of the UN IGF Multistakeholder Advisory Group. She holds degrees in International Relations and European Studies from Lucian Blaga University, Sibiu, Romania.
