Dr. Sonya Lin is a Lecturer in HRM, Organizational Behavior, and Work Psychology at Aston Business School, Aston University, since March 2023. She is an early career researcher with a PhD from Australian National University (2022), focusing on non-work contexts’ influence on workplace creativity.

Research Interests: Sonya investigates creativity (idea generation, work-family crossover), leadership (role occupancy, stepdown, perfectionism), and work-family dynamics (parental creativity, gender roles, pregnancy at work). Recent Publications highlight trends in employee well-being, leadership impact on families, and perfectionism’s role in creativity. These works often employ longitudinal studies and self-regulation theory.
