Songlin Wang

Songlin Wang is a University Assistant (Prae-doc) at the University of Vienna's Department of Geography and Regional Research, affiliated with the Population Geography and Demography working group. His research focuses on climate change and migration, integrating GeoAI methods to analyze global and local dimensions of climate migration.

Education:

• BSc in Cartography from Wuhan University (thesis: human mobility & pandemic)
• MSc in GIS with Data Science minor from University of Zurich (2021)

Current Work: Managing interdisciplinary projects to combine GeoAI with climate migration studies, emphasizing data-driven approaches over fieldwork.
