Solaiman Tarafder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at South Dakota State University (SDSU), Brookings. His research focuses on bioadhesives, stimuli-responsive biomaterials, immunomodulatory materials, and advanced manufacturing techniques for musculoskeletal tissue regeneration. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Washington State University and has held prior roles at Columbia University and the Shu-Tung and Alice Li Foundation.
