Simone Konu-Rae

Simone Konu-Rae is a Lecturer and Joint Stage 1 Leader for BA Fashion Communication: Image and Promotion at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She works as a stylist and art director specializing in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, with editorial contributions to publications including Tank Magazine, Vogue Italia, and i-D. She founded ALSO Journal to address representation gaps in fashion through themes of body, race, and ageism.

Her research explores:

• Visual storytelling at the intersection of style and culture
• Diversity in fashion photography
• Representation of women in media
• Cross-cultural influences in fashion

She has collaborated with commercial clients including Chanel, Gucci, Apple, Adidas, and Nike, and has contributed to film projects featured on platforms like NOWNESS.
