Silvana Weber

Silvana Weber is a Researcher at the Chair of Communication Psychology and New Media at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. She holds a PhD in Psychology (2016) and has held a postdoctoral position since April 2017, with a brief acting professorship in Social Psychology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2020/21.

• Health communication via apps and trackers

Recent publications analyze TikTok's impact on body image, gender dynamics in leadership, and interventions to mitigate social comparison effects. She won the GOR Poster Award in 2018 and has presented extensively on media psychology topics.
