Silke Stroh is Professor of British Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Koblenz. Her interdisciplinary research spans Scottish studies, postcolonial literature, minority cultures, and transcultural memory.
She received the European Society for the Study of English (ESSE) Book Award for her monograph 'Gaelic Scotland in the Colonial Imagination'. Her work examines colonial legacies in British and Anglophone literatures, with particular focus on transnational connections and intersectional perspectives.
