Shuozhi Xu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2016), with additional master's degrees in Computational Science and Engineering (Georgia Tech, 2015) and Solid Mechanics (China Academy of Engineering Physics, 2011). His research focuses on advancing multi-physics and data-driven methods for materials modeling, with applications in additive manufacturing and complex materials. He has held postdoctoral positions at UC Santa Barbara and Georgia Tech, and his work has been recognized through awards including the Elings Prize Fellowship and Sigma Xi Best Thesis Award.
