Dr Shuang Qiu is a Lecturer in Sociology at Keele University since 2022, previously teaching at the University of Birmingham. She holds a PhD in Women's Studies from the University of York (2020), focusing on gendered experiences of Living Apart Together (LAT) relationships in China. Her research explores family practices, gender roles, intimacy dynamics, and East Asian sociocultural contexts through qualitative methodologies.
