Sheri Lewis

Sheri Lewis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of African American and African Studies at Michigan State University. Her academic background includes a doctorate in Educational Policy Studies and Organizational Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a Graduate Certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies. She specializes in Black girlhood studies, employing arts-based research as a creative intervention to highlight Black girls as cultural producers.
