Shen Qing is a Researcher at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology, Uppsala University. She completed her PhD on leisure activities among older working-class queer men in Shanghai, exploring queer aging and subjectivity through ethnographic research. Previously, she worked as a journalist in China. Her research focuses on queer anthropology, East Asian studies, and social gerontology.
