Dr. Sheila Addison, Core Faculty in Couple & Family Therapy at Antioch University Seattle, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Gottman Method Therapist. With a PhD and MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from Syracuse University and a background in Theatre from the University of Colorado and Indiana State University, she specializes in affirmative therapy for marginalized groups, including LGBTQ+ communities, cross-cultural couples, and consensually non-monogamous relationships. Her work emphasizes dismantling fatphobia, promoting Health at Every Size (HAES), and advancing cultural competency in mental health.
