Shea Calvin

Shea Calvin, a proud Birpai and Worimi woman, is an Associate Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Newcastle under the Newcastle Business School. Her work centers on Indigenous perspectives in marketing communications and consumer behavior, particularly focusing on culturally safe community consultation.

Her research integrates Indigenist and decolonial methodologies to amplify Aboriginal voices in place promotion and tourism. Recent publications examine contested sites like Uluru and frameworks for Indigenous-led research.
