Shaun Litler

Shaun Litler is a Senior Lecturer in Event Management at Manchester Metropolitan University's Business School, specializing in Operations, Technology, Events and Hospitality Management. With over 20 years of experience in event management education, he leads the BA (Hons) Events Management course and pioneered "Event Connect," an industry-driven initiative to enhance student employability. His teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering event safety, global issues in events, and strategic management.

His research focuses on globalizing event management curricula and developing interactive learning tools, including a simulation game for large-scale exhibition planning. He has delivered lectures internationally across China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, India, and Europe, emphasizing cross-cultural event practices.
