Shanthi Rajaraman is a Senior Academic Professional and Director of the Opportunities Research Scholars’ Program in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, she served as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Stockton University, NJ. She holds an M.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University.

Her research focuses on Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and Chemical Education. Additionally, she has expertise in South Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam), offering classes in General Studies at Stockton University and guiding students in Service-Learning and Community Engagement projects.
As Director of the Opportunities Research Scholars’ Program, she supports academic initiatives in ECE. She joined Georgia Tech in Fall 2022.
