Dr. Shantha Karthigesu is a Lecturer at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University (ECU), and a postdoctoral researcher on the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren project. She teaches anatomy and physiology, with prior teaching experience in Canada. Her research focuses on intergenerational health influences, indigenous health, infant nutrition, and food security. She holds a PhD from ECU (2019), alongside degrees from Canadian institutions and the University of Western Australia.
