Janette Head

Janette Head is a Lecturer in the School of Education at Edith Cowan University (ECU), based at the Joondalup campus. She holds a Bachelor of Education (1999), Graduate Diploma in Education (1996), and Bachelor of Science (1995) from The University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on Chemistry Education and Science Education, particularly exploring how students engage with structural representations in organic chemistry. She is a member of the Teachers' Registration Board (WA, since 2005) and the Australasian Science Education Research Association (since 1995). Her work includes a notable 2005 publication in the Canadian Journal of Science, Mathematics and Technology Education, examining student competencies in organic chemistry structural representation.
