Dr. Shannon Lin is a Senior Lecturer and Diabetes Course Director at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Faculty of Health. She holds dual roles in academia and clinical practice, specializing in diabetes and nutrition with a focus on underserved populations, particularly Indigenous communities. Her expertise includes health literacy, culturally responsive care, and diabetes self-management education.
She has secured research grants from the Department of Health and Diabetes Australia, and her work is published in high-impact journals. Dr. Lin actively collaborates with organizations like Dietitians Australia, Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA), and Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC).
