Ivan Lin

Ivan Lin is an Associate Professor at the Western Australian Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) within the University of Western Australia's School of Allied Health. He also serves as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service and holds an Adjunct Senior Lecturer position at Curtin University. His research focuses on improving musculoskeletal pain management, clinical communication in Aboriginal healthcare, and rural health systems. Lin co-developed the Clinical Yarning framework to enhance communication in Indigenous healthcare settings.

Education: PhD (An Exploration of Chronic Low Back Pain in Australian Aboriginal Populations, Curtin University, 2013). External roles include physiotherapy practice and academic adjunct positions.

Research interests include Aboriginal health equity, rural allied health practice, and translating evidence-based practices into clinical settings. His work addresses gaps in musculoskeletal care, pelvic health for Indigenous populations, and dementia prevention programs like DAMPAA.
