Shaniece B. Bickham

Shaniece B. Bickham, Ph.D., is the Director and Associate Professor of the School of Communication and Design at Loyola University New Orleans, affiliated with the College of Music and Media. With over two decades of experience in journalism, public relations, and higher education leadership, she focuses on academic research and administrative roles.

Research Interests:
Dr. Bickham’s research spans source credibility, crisis communication, and political messaging. Notable studies include analyzing the contributions of U.S. First Ladies to the White House and public perceptions of COVID-19 information. Her work bridges media theory, political communication, and public health messaging.
