Sergio Roa Gómez serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Genetics at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Navarra, with dual affiliation at the Cancer Center of Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN) where he leads the GLUN Lymphomas research group.
His research program centers on B-cell biology and lymphoma pathogenesis, with seminal contributions in DNA editing mechanisms, tumor immunosuppression, and lymphomagenesis. He has pioneered translational models for novel immunotherapy development through industry partnerships with Gilead, Roche, and ONA Therapeutics, generating clinically relevant therapeutic strategies.

He actively transfers discoveries through UNAV's technology transfer office and maintains leadership in the GLUN Lymphomas consortium focused on hematological malignancies.
