Dr. Fernando Rotellar Sastre is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra and Director of the Department of General and Digestive Surgery at the University of Navarra Clinic. He specializes in General Surgery with a focus on obesity surgery and hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgery.
- Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Oviedo (1995)
- PhD in Surgery from the University of Navarra (2008)
His research focuses on minimally invasive techniques in liver and pancreas surgery, and living donor liver transplantation. He has contributed to over 150 publications and participates in 10 research projects. He has also delivered over 100 presentations at national and international conferences.
