Sergey Kim

Sergey Kim is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies of the University of Lausanne since 2021. He specializes in the Christian heritage preserved in ancient languages, including Latin, Greek, Georgian, Armenian, Coptic, Syriac, Arabic, Church Slavonic, and Ethiopian. His work focuses on critical editions of unknown or little-known ancient texts and manuscript cataloging.

His research spans textual criticism, comparative philology, and multilingual manuscript analysis. He has contributed to journals like Analecta Bollandiana and Byzantion, and is preparing a volume for the Corpus Christianorum Series Graeca. He served as Scientific Secretary for the Association for the Study of Ancient Christian Literature and collaborates on the Christian Sources collection. Previously, he worked at institutions including IRHT (CNRS), the University of Basel, Munich, and EPHE (Paris).
