Senanayak Karri

Dr. Senanayak Karri is a Research Fellow in Machine Learning at the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis within the Business School at Imperial College London. He has held roles across multiple institutions including the Data Science Institute (2019-2022), the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (2017-2019), and IST Austria as a post-doctoral researcher (until 2017). His research focuses on artificial intelligence, image processing, cognitive sciences, and information systems.

Education:

• PhD under Francis Bach at INRIA SIERRA (completed 2016)
• MVA Masters from ENS-Cachan (2013)
• Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad (2003)

Research Interests: His work bridges machine learning theory and applications in financial analysis, cognitive systems, and data-driven decision-making. Collaborations include Prof. Allen Franklin (current advisor), Prof. Adrian Weller, Prof. Marc Deisenroth, and Vladimir Kolmogorov.
