Semih Kerestecioglu

Semih Kerestecioglu is a Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen's Business School. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Liverpool (2021), an MSc in Finance and Investment from the University of Exeter (2016), and a BSc. His research focuses on empirical asset pricing, behavioral finance, and climate finance, with a particular interest in how global challenges like the pandemic and climate change influence investment decisions. He explores the interplay between rational and behavioral theories to inform investors and policymakers.

His recent publications include studies on financial uncertainty's impact on stock markets and economic uncertainty's role in mispricing and ambiguity premiums.
