Sebastien Boiteau is a PhD researcher at the QUT Centre for Robotics, focusing on autonomous drones in GPS-denied environments with degraded visibility. His work addresses multi-objective challenges including decision-making, path planning, navigation, and target detection under limited sensory data, primarily applied to Antarctic and polar regions through the ARC SRI Antarctica initiative.
